Medicine, has a Ph.D. in Nutritional medicine and is a certified Addictionolagist. He is the author of a weight loss manual
and the popular healthcare book “Saving John’s Life”. Dr. Saylor believes that health
issues are the result of imbalances in the body. “These issues are best prevented and treated not by pharmaceutical
drugs but through therapeutic nutrition and functional health care treatments.” Referred to as the "Doctor
to the People," Dr. Saylor is dedicated to change healthcare to have a system that works and is affordable. Today
the United Staes is #1 in the cost for healthcare but #37 on the results from the care. Something is bad wrong
with number like this. He has the able to explain things in an easy to understand common sense terms. He is available
and listens to the patient to provide individualized treatments whereas today most treatments are time driven, expensive pigeon
hole dangerous pharmaceutical drug protocol for everyone. America’s healthcare problems will never be solved with this
approach. We have yet to win a war against any health issue by using this approach. When have you ever known anyone with a
chronic illness to be cured by a drug? Dr Saylor says, "I want to dedicate this practice and especially the weight
plan to my mother. Mom was mobidly obese(greater than 300#) and struggled with her weight all her life with little success.
She suffered from many health issues including diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and cancer that I believe were directly
related to her diet, exercise (or lack of), and obesity. I committed myself to return to school just months after her death
to try and find answers to help people with their chronic health issues. We have had a lot of success, but it is a battle
that continues. I believe weight and it's associated problems along with inflammation, free radical damage,
stress, and toxins causing imbalances in the body are the root cause for almost all of today’s chronic health problems
and deaths".
